BWA has been honored with an official Proclamation from the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, declaring March 8th as Black Women Adventures Empowerment Day!
This prestigious recognition was presented at our ‘Elevate: Lifting As We Climb’ fundraiser brunch by Supervisor Monica Montgomery Steppe. It acknowledges BWA’s dedication to empowering Black women through transformative outdoor experiences, wellness initiatives, and community-building efforts.

On march 8,2025 bwa inc. hosted the elevate: lifting as we climb fundraiser brunch, bringing together a powerful community of changemakers,supporters, and visionaries. The event, held in celebration of sisterhood, empowerment and collective progress, was a testament to the impact we create when we uplift one another.
