Our 1st Retreat

Wow

It was such an amazing experience to have a diverse group of women come together (yes diverse) from 5 different cities and be apart of history. Our dream of eliminating financial barriers by completely covering a trip that allowed women to focus on both their mental and physical health came true on Nov 1-4, 2024.

The women enjoyed bonding activities, hiking, deep conversations and of course some dancing!

Whatever they were dealing with in life they got to take a break from as we explored together for a weekend. Supported eachother and built the foundation of a new community and sisterhood.

Our goal this year was to have 10 women and we ended up with 7 as a few women had to back out last minute due to unforseen circumstances.

Next year we hope to up the anty and bring 12-14 women contingent on funding.

Here at BWA we are passionate about providing a safe place for sisterhood and community. Eliminating barriers of entry whether that be from financial constraints or lack of seeing those like you.
